Congratulations Melanie Burgos, president of Southern Connecticut State University LatinX in STEM club and newly appointed The National Institutes of Health diversity fellow with Nina Stachenfeld at the The John B. Pierce Laboratory at Yale School of Medicine!
Melanie is a graduate from the Sound School in New Haven Public Schools.
Since 2020, SCSU BioPath has aided over 200 students and recent graduates, of which 39% are BIPOC or students from underrepresented backgrounds.
This is possible because of our commitment to supporting students of color and because of our strong partnerships.
Thanks to funding from CTNext and the New Haven Innovation Collaborative, Michael Harris as well as continued support from Ginny Kozlowski and Michael Piscitelli!
