Congratulations to Dr. Tori Stone!
Dr. Stone was recently announced the recipient of this prestigious award by the American Physiological Society for outstanding research as a woman in STEM. She will be recognized in an awards ceremony at the 2021 Virtual Experimental Biology Conference for this achievement.
Dr. Stone’s body of work has focused on cardiovascular and temperature regulation and the impact of sex hormones and associated sex differences. She continues this work in Dr. Nina Stachenfeld’s lab studying androgen effects on blood pressure regulation in women with androgen-excess polycystic ovary syndrome.
