The John B. Pierce Laboratory

Student Volunteer

The Pierce Laboratory encourages high school and college students who are considering a career in biomedical research to gain experience as part-time volunteer workers on active research projects. Student involvement in the research process can provide valuable early experience that helps inform future decisions about research training and career paths. Prospective volunteers should visit our Pierce laboratory webpages to find research areas or topics that are of potential interest. Inquiries about volunteer opportunities during the academic year or for the summer months should be made by contacting the Principal Investigator of the relevant laboratory.

Financial support for part-time student positions is sometimes available through grants or fellowships. Such opportunities will be posted here as they become available.
