Celebrations were in order as Dr. John Geibel, Director of the Pierce Lab, cut the ribbon to officially open New Haven Innovation Labs on November 16. The space is set to be one of New Haven’s foremost bioscience incubators and can accommodate 19 startups and incubees.
Alongside our Director is Mayor Justin Elicker, who offered a speech saying, “In New Haven, biosciences, life sciences — that sector is growing almost exponentially… This is a vital component in the overall ecosystem of biosciences and making sure that New Haven is the future home for these types of things.” Dr. Geibel expressed that he firmly believes NHIL will lead the way in scientific innovation going forward. We are elated to have even more action at the lab!
