Xue Sun is awarded the Patricia Goldman Rakic Award

Xue Sun, a PhD student in the lab of Dana Small, has been awarded The 2012 Patricia Goldman-Rakic Fellowship in Neuroscience.  The fellowship was established in 2004 to honor the memory of Professor Goldman-Rakic and to promote excellence in neuroscience research.  Pfizer, Inc. allots $50,000 per year for five years to provide tuition, stipend, and health care coverage for a second or third year student who is conducting research in neuroscience.
