The Laboratory is located adjacent to the Yale University School of Medicine in the downtown area of New Haven, Connecticut. It can be easily accessed by car, air, train or bus. See tabs below for more information.
Follow I-91 south and take Exit 1 toward downtown New Haven. This puts you on a short highway (Route 34) accessing various points in the downtown area. Take Exit 2 - College Street, and turn left at the light. The Pierce Laboratory will be visible directly ahead (about two blocks) where College Street bends to the right merging with Congress Avenue. To access our parking lot (behind the laboratory), go one short block to the next light (Cedar Street), turn left, then left again (at the stop sign) onto Washington Avenue. The Pierce parking lot is the first on the left.

Bradley International Airport in Hartford (BDL) is a 1 hour drive from the Laboratory, and offers the greatest number of flight options. Ground transportation is available from BDL by rental car or Connecticut Limo.
Tweed Airport in New Haven (HVN) offers limited commuter flights. Ground transportation is available from HVN by taxi, rental car, or public transportation.
Bradley International Airport in Hartford (BDL) offers a few international flights.
The New York city airports JFK, Newark, and LaGuardia, offer the greatest number of international flight options. Ground transportation is available from the aiports by rental car, Connecticut Limo, Primetime Shuttle, and Amtrak.
Union Station in New Haven is only a few blocks from the Laboratory. Train service is available through the Metro-North Commuter Rail and Amtrak. Bus service is available through Greyhound, Arrow Line, and Peter Pan Bus Lines.
